En la segunda ronda del 1er. Rugby Championship M20, los Pumitas M20 capitaneados por el segunda línea Efraín Elías, someterán a exámen a los All Blacks Júniors capitaneados por el hooker Vernon Bason, mañana martes a las 04:00 hrs.

Los Pumitas M20 vienen de la goleada debut en Australia, ante los Wallabies Júniors por 25-6, y los All Blacks Júniors no fueron más allá del empate de 13-13 frente a los Júniors Springboks en debut en el Sunshine Coast Stadium.

Ante los juveniles neozelandeses, los Pumitas entrenados por el tucumano Álvaro Galindo, el cordobés Galo Álvarez Quiñones y el porteño Carlos Mohapp, presentan 9 cambios entre los titulares y 7 entre los suplentes.

Entre los titulares debutarán Estanislao Rodríguez, Agustín Sarelli, Tomás Medina y Gregorio Pérez Pardo, y entre los suplentes, Alejandro Barrios, Ignacio Torrado y Facundo Rodríguez que tuvieron primera convocatoria entre los 23.

Mantienen la titularidad el capitán Efraín Elías,  Manuel Vivas, Juan Pedro Bernasconi, Tomás Di Biase, Tomás Bocco (pasa de 13) y Benjamín Elizalde.

Para el entrenador porteño Carlos Mohapp, “El equipo está muy bien y con muchas ganas de seguir mejorando y creciendo. La victoria con Australia ayuda a trabajar con buena energía para competir y estar a la altura del torneo”.

"Nos centramos en las formaciones fijas, punto que fue clave en el partido anterior; mucho en el juego con el pie por el clima y por algo que también nos propusimos y en cuanto a los cambios tenemos que ampliar el plantel’’, dijo Mohapp.

"Queremos ver a todos los jugadores y evaluar sus desempeños en este nivel de competencia y poder tener un plantel  mucho más claro para junio antes del campeonato Mundial de Rugby", expresó.

Para el entrenador de los All Blacks Júniors, Jono Gibbes, se presentan siete cambios en su XV titular con nueva pareja de medios formada por Dylan Pledger y Rico Simpson y el centro Tofuka Paongo, acompañará al vicecapitán Xavi Taele.

Completando los tres cuartos King Maxwell ocupa su lugar en como wing derecho y Sam Coles como full back.

En los delanteros hay dos cambios con Cam Christie entrando como segunda línea y Matt Lowe como flanker.

U20 Pumitas submit All Blacks Júniors to examination

 

In the second round of the 1st. U20 Rugby Championship, the U20 Pumitas captained by second row Efraín Elías, will test the All Blacks Juniors captained by hooker Vernon Bason, tomorrow Tuesday at 04:00 hrs. (Argentinian time).

The U20 Pumitas are coming off the debut win in Australia, against the Wallabies Juniors by 25-6, and the All Blacks Juniors did not go beyond the 13-13 draw against the Junior Springboks in their debut at the Sunshine Coast Stadium.

Against the New Zealand youth team, the Pumitas, coached by Álvaro Galindo from Tucumán, Galo Álvarez Quiñones from Córdoba and Carlos Mohapp from Buenos Aires, present 9 changes among the starters and 7 among the substitutes.

Among the starters, Estanislao Rodríguez, Agustín Sarelli, Tomás Medina and Gregorio Pérez Pardo will debut, and among the substitutes, Alejandro Barrios, Ignacio Torrado and Facundo Rodríguez, who had the first call among the 23.

For Buenos Aires’s  coach Carlos Mohapp, “The team is doing very well and eager to continue improving and growing. The victory with Australia helps us work with good energy to compete and live up to the tournament.

"We focused on fixed formations, a point that was key in the previous game; a lot of playing with the foot due to the weather and something that we also proposed and in terms of changes we have to expand the squad," said Mohapp.

"We want to see all the players and evaluate their performances at this level of competition and be able to have a much clearer squad for June before the U20 Rugby World Cup," he said.

For the coach of the All Blacks Juniors, Jono Gibbes, there are seven changes in his starting XV with a new media pair formed by Dylan Pledger and Rico Simpson and centre Tofuka Paongo, who will accompany vice-captain Xavi Taele.

Completing the backline  King Maxwell takes his place at right wing and Sam Coles at full back.

In the forwards there are two changes with Cam Christie coming in as the second row and Matt Lowe as flanker.
