Los Baby Boks pusieron ante los Pumitas el énfasis de estar jugando el Campeonato Mundial de Nueva Zelanda M20, y se impuso 78-31 (38-14) en el Saldanha Rugby Club en la Costa Occidental a 127 kilómetros de Ciudad del Cabo (capital legislativa de Sudáfrica).

El desafío en el extremo austral de Sudáfrica, fue el primero de tres partidos que ambos equipos tienen programados como principal  preparación para el Mundial de junio en Nueva Zelanda. Los Baby  Boks eligieron jugar con viento en contra el primer tiempo.

Ya los 19’ la escuadra juvenil sudafricana entrenada por Dawie Theron ya estaba en ventaja de 31; pero los Pumitas fueron remontando el pasivo con ritmo creciente y lograron anotar cuatro tries (dos en cada tiempo) para poner el marcador 45-26.

Por lo que Dawie Theron apuntó: "Hemos probado un nuevo enfoque para mantener a los jugadores más entrenados y aunque todavía es pronto para el resultado se notó impulso y capacidad de cumplir con un plan de juego”.

“Los Pumitas van a estar mucho mejor preparados para el segundo encuentro del martes en Stellenbosch. Son un buen equipo con un gran potencial, por lo que se espera que van a estar muy duros contra nosotros en Stellenbosch", advirtió  Theron.

Lo que más molestó a Theron fueron los tries que  su equipo encajó, y lo atribuyó a algunos lapsos de falta de concentración en final del primer tiempo y comienzo del segundo.

Lo más importante para el entrenador cordobés Rodolfo Carlos Ambrosio, es que su colega Theron anticipó que “el martes tendrá varios jugadores disponibles que provienen de los cuartos de final de la Copa Vodacom de mañana sábado”.

El próximo partido será el martes a las 15.00 horas (10 de la mañana hora argentina) en el “Paul Roos Stadium” de Stellenbosch y el encuentro final tendrá lugar el próximo sábado 10 de mayo en el  Crawford Park de Ciudad del Cabo.

The Baby Boks to put the emphasis against Pumitas be playing the World Cup U20 in New Zealand, and won 78-31 (38-14) at Saldanha Rugby Club on the West Coast at 127 kilometers from Cape Town (the legislative capital of South Africa).

The challenge at the southern tip of South Africa, was the first of three games that both teams are scheduled as the main preparation for the World Cup U20 in June in New Zealand. The Baby Boks chose to play against the wind the first half.

At the19' South African youth squad coached by Dawie Theron was already ahead of 31 points against the Pumitas tracing but were passive with increasing pace and managed to score with four tries (two in each half ) to make the score 45-26.

And Dawie Theron said: "We tried a new approach to keeping the players trained and although it is still early to boost results and ability to comply with a game plan was noted".

"The Pumitas will be much better prepared for the second test on Tuesday at Stellenbosch. They are a good team with great potential, so it is expected that they will be very hard against us in Stellenbosch", said Theron.

What bothered Theron tries were conceded he and attributed to some lack of concentration lapses at the end of the first half and beginning of the second.

Most important for the coach from Córdoba, Rodolfo Carlos Ambrosio, his colleague Theron is anticipated that "on Tuesday, several players are available that will come from the quarter-finals of the Vodacom Cup on Saturday".

The next game will be on Tuesday at 15.00 (10am Argentina time) in the "Paul Roos Stadium" of Stellenbosch and the final match will take place on Saturday 10 May at the Crawford Park of Cape Town-

Les Baby Boks mettent l'accent contre les Pumitas de jouer la Coupe du Monde en Nouvelle-Zélande M20  et a gagné 78-31 (38-14) au Saldanha Rugby Club sur la Côte Ouest à 127 km de Cape Town (capitale législative de l’Afrique du Sud).

Le défi à la pointe sud de l'Afrique du Sud, a été le premier de trois matchs que les deux équipes sont prévues comme la principale préparation pour la Coupe du Monde en Juin en Nouvelle-Zélande. Les Baby Boks ont  choisi de jouer contre le vent au premier mi-temp. 

Et au 19’ les Baby Boks sud-africaine entraîné par Dawie Theron était déjà en avance de 31 points contre les  Pumitas traçage mais étaient passive avec le rythme de plus en plus et réussi à marquer quatre essais (deux dans chaque mi-temp) pour rendre le score 45-26.

Comme l'a dit Dawie Theron: «Nous avons essayé une nouvelle approche de la tenue des joueurs formés et bien qu'il soit encore trop tôt pour améliorer les résultats et la capacité de se conformer à un plan de jeu a été noté".

"Les Pumitas seront beaucoup mieux préparés pour la deuxième rencontre de mardi à Stellenbosch. Ils sont une bonne équipe avec un grand potentiel, il est prévu qu'ils seront très difficiles contre nous à Stellenbosch",  a dit Theron.

Qu'est-ce que la peine essais Theron ont été concédés lui et attribué à un certain manque de défaillances de concentration à la fin du premier semestre et au début de la deuxième.

Le plus important pour l'entraîneur du Córdoba, Rodolfo Carlos Rodolfo Ambrosio, son collègue Theron est prévu que "le mardi  plusieurs joueurs seront disponibles parce que viendront des quarts de finale de la Coupe Vodacom de le samedi".

Le prochain match aura lieu mardi à 15h00 (le 10 heure de matin, en  Argentine) au "Paul Roos Stadium" de Stellenbosch et la finale aura lieu le samedi 10 mai à la Crawford Park stade de Cape Town.
