Para ello los Dragones Rojos  solo tienen una sola posibilidad: ganar por más de siete puntos ya que suma 6 puntos por 8 del quince de la Rosa de los Tudor.

La última fecha propone  Francia-Escocia en el “Stade de France” de París, donde “Les Blues” buscan salir del fondo de la tabla y evitar la humillación de la “Cuchara de Madera”, siendo favoritos por 8 puntos; mientras que Italia en el “Olímpico” de Roma persigue el mismo objetivo ante Irlanda, con sus argentinos: los centros Gonzalo García y Gonzalo Canale, y su octavo y capitán Sergio Parisse, aunque Irlanda es favorito para ganar por 3 puntos.

Gales entrenado por el entrenador interino Robert Howley,  podría contar con 12 jugadores en su alineación inicial que conquistaron el Grand Slam contra Francia el año pasado. El entrenador asistente, Shaun Edwards  espera que las recientes experiencias del Gales de las grandes ocasiones “pongan en evidencia el sábado contra Inglaterra”.

"Hay mucha expectativa y mucha presión sobre ellos. Inglaterra no ha ganado un Grand Slam desde hace 10 años, que es mucho tiempo, pero nosotros debemos concentrarnos en nuestras propias posibilidades", sentenció Edwards.
