Los All Blacks serán
anfitriones de los Pumas en Nueva Zelanda, por las terceras y cuartas rondas del 10º Rugby
Championship 2022, el sábado 27 de agosto en Christchurch
(04:45) y el sábado 3 de septiembre en Hamilton (04:05), con plantel de 32
jugadores convocados por el australiano Michael Cheika.
En el plantel de Los Pumas para la gira por
las Antípodas, destacan el sexteto cordobés integrado por el apertura Santiago
Carreras, el full back Juan Cruz Mallía, el segunda línea Matías Alemanno, el
medio scrum Lautaro Bazán Vélez, el pilar Eduardo Bello y el octavo Joaquín
Oviedo.
En lo que va de
la temporada y con cinco partidos disputados entre la ventaja de julio y el
Rugby Championship de agosto, destaca cuarteto cordobés formado por el full
back Juan Cruz Mallía, el apertura Santiago Carreras, el segunda línea Matías
Alemanno y el medio scrum Lautaro Bazán Vélez.
A ellos se
agregan el dúo mendocino con el medio scrum Gonzalo Bertranou y el flancker Juan
Martín González, el dúo tucumano con el pilar Thomas Gallo y el centro/apertura
Tomás Albornoz, y el dúo rosarino con el wing Emiliano Boffelli y el centro
Jerónimo de la Fuente, que es baja por lesión en San Juan.
Tras dos rondas
del 10º Rugby Championship 2022, Argentina encabeza las posiciones con 5 puntos
y +16, 2º Australia con 5 puntos y -16, 3º Sudáfrica con 4 pts y +4 y 4º Nueva
Zelanda con 4 pts y -4.
Disputadas dos
jornadas donde Argentina recibió a Australia en ciudades de Mendoza con derrota
de 41-26, y de San Juan con victoria de 48-17, Cheika convocó a los porteños Guido Petti Pagadizábal (segunda línea) y
Santiago Socino (hooker) y al pilar villamariense Eduardo Bello.
Se agregan el apertura porteño Benjamín Urdapilleta y el pilar santafecino
Mayco Vivas; y son descartados los bonaerenses Agustín Creevy (hooker), Nahuel Tetáz
Chaparro, y Francisco Gómez Kodela (pilares), los rosarinos Juan Imhoff (wing)
y Jerónimo de la Fuente (centro) y el apertura tucumano Nicolás Sánchez.

Cabe acotar que Los Pumas alcanzan la cabeza en tabla del Rugby Championship, donde participan desde 2012. Con estas dos primeras actuaciones, Argentina tiene mejor comienzo en el torneo (un 2º lugar en 2020), cuando superó por primera vez en la historia a los All Blacks (25-15).
El triunfo de los Pumas frente a los Wallabies en el Estadio del Bicentenario en la Ciudad de San Juan, es el de mayor margen en el Rugby Championship (tras 54 tests, con 7 victorias, 3 empates y 44 derrotas), la más jerarquía en la historia ante un rival del Tier 1 y donde apoyaron siete tries.

The Pumas to face the
All Blacks in New Zealand
The All Blacks will host the Pumas in New Zealand, for the third and fourth rounds of the 10th Rugby Championship 2022, on Saturday 27 August in Christchurch (04:45) and on Saturday 3 September in Hamilton (04:05), with a squad of 32 players summoned by the Australian Michael Cheika.
In the Los Pumas squad for the tour of the Antipodes, the Cordovan sextet stands out, made up of fly half Santiago Carreras, full back Juan Cruz Mallía, second row Matías Alemanno, scrum half Lautaro Bazán Vélez, prop Eduardo Bello and eighth Joaquin Oviedo.
So far this season and with five games played between the lead in July and the Rugby Championship in August, the Cordovan quartet stands out, made up of full back Juan Cruz Mallía, fly half Santiago Carreras, second row Matías Alemanno and scrum half Lautaro Bazan Velez.
Added to them are the
Mendoza duo with scrum-half Gonzalo Bertranou and flanker Juan Martín González,

After two rounds where Argentina received Australia in the cities of Mendoza with a 41-26 defeat, and San Juan with a 48-17 victory, Cheika summoned Buenos Aires natives Guido Petti Pagadizábal (second line) and Santiago Socino (hooker) and the Villamariense pillar Eduardo Bello.
