Tras el comienzo de la conferencia australiana con triunfos deMelbourne Rebels sobre Western Force 30-23  y de Brumbies de Canberra ante Reds de Queensland por 24-6, ahora es el debut del resto del programa del Super Rugby 2013 con el debut de los campeones salientes,   los Chiefs de Waikato visitando a los Highlanders de Otago en el sur neocelandés.

En el Forsyth Barr Stadium el viernes tendrá lugar el choque de los “Jefes” campeones ante los “montañeses” sureños en el programa de las cinco franquicias de la conferencia de Nueva Zelanda, que se completa con otro clásico de las metrópolis entre  Hurricanes de Wellington y Blues de Auckland  donde debuta como entrenador Sir John Kirwan .

"Queremos construir sobre la respuesta positiva de la temporada positiva, la mejor competencia mundial para selecciones provinciales y con los mejores jugadores del mundo compitiendo”, declaró . Steve Tew, presidente ejecutivo de la Unión de Nueva Zelanda.

Le Forsyth Barr Stadium aura lieu vendredi  l´affrontement des  les "Chiefs" champions en charge contre les Highlanders dans le programme des cinq franchises de la conférence de Nouvelle-Zélande, avec un autre classique des métropoles entre les Hurricanes de Wellington et les Auckland Blues ou débuts l'entraîneur Sir John Kirwan.

 «Nous voulons miser sur la réponse positive de la saison, avec la concurrence internationale pour les meilleurs équipes provinciales et les meilleurs joueurs du monde en compétition», at-il dit Steve Tew, le presidente-directeur général de l'Union de la Nouvelle-Zélande.
