El domingo Los Pampas XV en histórico debut en torneo del Pacifico Sur, enfrentarán por el grupo B de la Pacific Rugby Cup (PRC) a los ACT A de Canberra, aspirantes a ser Brumbies, franquicia australiana que perdió la final del Super Rugby 2013, ante los neozelandeses Chiefs de Waikato.

Los Pampas XV con rodaje en la Vodacom Cup sudafricana, la Churchill Cup, la Nations Cup y la Americas Rugby Cup, desembarcaron en  Australia perdiendo el primer amistoso ante Western Force en Perth por 29-6 y ganando el segundo a NSW M20 por 57-12.

Por lo que en Canberra, capital de Australia, comienza el verdadero exámen para la escuadra que entrenó hasta 2013, el tucumano Daniel Hourcade, ahora head-coach de los Pumas al reemplazar en noviembre pasado al porteño Santiago Phelan, en la gira del otoño europeo.

Ahora con la conducción del rosarino Raúl Pérez y del paranaense Martín Gaitán, los Pampas XV se medirán con los mejores talentos australianos emergentes para el Super Rugby, y a seleccionados B  de  Fidji (los Warriors, campeones salientes) Samoa , Tonga y Japón Júnior.

El Pacífic Rugby Cup (PRC) nació en 2006 para desarrollar las naciones del Pacífico y es organizado por la IRB (la Federación Internacional del Rugby Unión) conjuntamente con la Unión Australiana de Rugby que presenta a cuatro equipos "A" que compiten en Super Rugby.

"El torneo ofrece un gran futuro a los Waratahs actuales y a los aspirantes a destacar en el equipo de Nueva Gales del Sur que compite en el Super Rugby. No hay mejor lugar para los jugadores para mostrar sus habilidades", resaltó Michael Cheika, entrenador de los Waratahs.

"El momento es perfecto, ya que es paralelo al inicio del Super Rugby y se encuentra justo antes del comienzo de nuestra competencia Shute Shield de los clubes de Sydney, para que todos los actores involucrados tengan oportunidad de mostrar sus destreza", sentenció Cheika.

Ben Whitaker director general de la Unión Australiana de Rugby señaló que los equipos que se enfrentarán en Australia van a mejorar su desarrollo al competir con jugadores de élite de todo el país.

"El torneo ayudará a cerrar la brecha entre el rugby nacional y el internacional para nuestros mejores jugadores con base en Australia y  que no están involucrados en el Super Rugby”, resaltó Whitaker.

El campeonato se juega en Sydney, Canberra, Brisbane, Perth y Gold Cost. Comenzó el viernes 21 con triunfo de Western Fuerza A sobre Queensland Reds A por 29-23 en Perth y prosiguió el domingo 23 con victoria de Gen Blue sobre ACT A por 23-17 en Sydney.

La final se disputará en Sydney el domingo 23 marzo  por el equipo mejor colocado de cada grupo. Los Warriors de Fidji son los campeones salientes y es el único equipo que defendió con éxito el título, después de haberlo ganado en 2009.

Los equipos se dividen en dos grupos. Por el Grupo A están los Reds A de Brisbane, Force A de Perth, Fidji Warriors y Japón Júnior; y por el grupo B, los Gen Blue de Sydney, ACT A de Canberra, Samoa A, Tonga A y los Pampas XV.

Pampas XV will play on Sunday an historic tournament debut in South Pacific, in group B of Pacific Rugby Cup (PRC) against ACT A, the future  Brumbies, the Australian franchise that lost the final of Super Rugby 2013 face of New Zealanders Chiefs of Waikato.

The Pampas XV with proven experience in the South African Vodacom Cup, Churchill Cup, the Nations Cup and the Americas Rugby Cup, landed in Australia losing the first game against Western Force in Perth by 29-6 and winning the second face NSW U20 by 57-12.

So in Canberra, capital of Australia, begins the real test for the squad who coached until 2013 by Daniel Hourcade from Tucumán, now head-coach of the Pumas in last November to replace Santiago Phelan from Buenos Aires, during European autumn tour.

Now with coaching by Raúl Pérez from Rosario and Martín Gaitán from Paraná, the Pampas XV will be measured with the best emerging Australian talent for the Super Rugby, and selections B like Fiji Warriors (current champions), Samoa A, Tonga A and Junior Japan.

The Pacific Rugby Cup ( PRC) was founded in 2006 to develop the Pacific nations and is organized by the IRB (International Federation of Rugby Union) in conjunction with the Australian Rugby Union having four teams "A" competing in Super Rugby.

"The tournament offers a great future for current and applicants for Waratahs who competing in the Super Rugby. Is better for players to showcase their skills", he said Michael Cheika head-coach the Waratahs.

"The timing is perfect, since it is parallel to the start of Super Rugby and is located just before the start of our competition the Shute Shield for Sydney clubs, so that all stakeholders have an opportunity to showcase their skills" Cheika added.

For Ben Whitaker CEO of the Australian Rugby Union “the teams will face off in Australia will enhance your development to compete with elite players across the country”.

"The tournament will help close the gap between domestic and international rugby for our best players based in Australia and are not involved in the Super Rugby" he said Whitaker.

The championship will be played in Perth, Sydney, Canberra, Brisbane and Gold Cost. Began on Friday 21 with victory of Western Force A over Queensland Reds A by 29-23 in Perth and continued on Sunday with victory by 23-17 of Gen Blue over ACT A  in Sydney.

The final will be held in Sydney on Sunday 23 March by the best placed team in each group. The Fiji Warriors are the current champions and the only team that successfully defended the title after having won in 2009.

The teams are divided into two groups. In Group A are the Reds A in Brisbane, Force A in Perth, Fiji Warriors and Junior Japan, and the B group with Gen Blue in Sydney, ACT A in Canberra, Samoa A, Tonga A and Pampas XV.

Le Pampas, avec ayant expérience avérée à la Vodacom Cup de l’Afrique du Sud, Churchill Cup, Nations Cup et Americas Rugby Cup, a atterri en Australie, et perdre le premier match contre Western Force de Perth 29-6 et remporté le deuxième avec victoire sur NSW M20 par 57-12.

Donc, à Canberra, capitale de l'Australie, commence véritable test pour l'équipe que a été dirigée jusqu'à 2013 par l’entraîneur de Tucuman Daniel Hourcade, maintenant entraîneur-chef de les Pumas en Novembre dernier pour remplacer l’entraîneur de Buenos Aires, Santiago Phelan pendant la tournée de l’automne européenne.

«Le tournoi offre un grand avenir pour les futurs Waratahs dans sa Nouvelle-Galles du Sud en concurrence pour le Super Rugby, pour les joueurs de mettre en valeur leurs compétences", a noté l'entraîneur des Waratahs Michael Cheika.

"Le timing est parfait, car il est parallèle au début de Super Rugby et est situé juste avant le début de nos clubs en Shute Shield de Sydney, de sorte que tous les intervenants ont l'occasion de démontrer leurs compétences», dit-il Cheika.

Ben Whitaker PDG de la Fédération australienne de rugby a déclaré que les équipes que s'affronteront en Australie permettra d'améliorer le développement et à rivaliser avec des joueurs d'élite à travers le pays.

 «Le tournoi permettra de combler le fossé entre le rugby national et international pour nos meilleurs joueurs basés en Australie et que ne sont pas impliqués dans le Super Rugby" a souligné Whitaker.

Le championnat sera joué à Sydney, Canberra, Brisbane, Perth et Gold Cost. A commencé vendredi 21 avec victoire de Force A sur Queensland Reds A par 29-23 à Perth et continué dimanche 23 avec la victoire de Gen Blue sur ACT A par 23-17 à Sydney.

La finale aura lieu à Sydney le dimanche 23 Mars par l'équipe  mieux placée dans chaque groupe. Les Fidji Warriors sont les champions sortants et la seule équipe qui a défendu avec succès le titre après avoir remporté en 2009.

La squadra dei XV Pampas arriva con il mestiere di giocare nella Vodacom Cup del Sudafrica, la Churchill Cup, Coppa delle Nazioni e l’Americas Rugby Cup, e sbarca in Australia, perdendo primo amichevole contro Western Force a Perth per 29-6 e vincendo il secondo contro NSW U20 per 57-12.

La Pacific Rugby Cup (PRC) è stata fondata nel 2006 per sviluppare le nazioni del Pacifico ed è organizzato dalla IRB (la Federazione Internazionale dello Rugby Union) insieme con la Federazione Australiana di Rugby Union che mette quattro selezioni "A" delle franchigie concorrenti in Super Rugby.

"Il torneo offre un grande futuro per i attuali aspiranti a Waratahs nella regione di Nuova Galles del Sud che competono nel Super Rugby. Per cui possono migliorare le loro abilità", ha osservato l’allenatore dei Waratahs Michael Cheika.

"Il tempismo è perfetto, dato che il PRC è parallelo al l'inizio di Super Rugby e si trova poco prima dell'inizio del nostro Shute Shield per club in Sydney, in modo che tutte le parti hanno l'opportunità di mostrare le loro abilità", ha detto Cheika.

Ben Whitaker amministratore delegato della Federazione Australiana di Rugby Union ha detto che le squadre si affronteranno in Australia per migliorare lo sviluppo per competere con giocatori d'elite in tutto il paese.

"Il torneo contribuirà a colmare il divario tra il rugby nazionale e quello internazionale per i nostri migliori giocatori che risiedono in Australia e che non sono coinvolti nel Super Rugby", ha sottolineato Whitaker .
Il campionato si giocherà a Sydney , Canberra , Brisbane , Perth e Gold Cost . Ha iniziato Venerdì 21 vittoria contro Western Force A Queensland Reds 29-23 a Perth per A e ha continuato la Domenica con la vittoria Gen 23 su ATTO A Blue 23-17 a Sydney .
La finale si terrà a Sydney Domenica 23 marzo dalla squadra nella posizione migliore in ogni gruppo . Le Figi Warriors sono i campioni uscenti e l'unica squadra che ha difeso con successo il titolo dopo aver vinto nel 2009 .
Le squadre sono divise in due gruppi . In gruppo A sono i Reds a Brisbane , Forza A Perth , Fiji e Giappone Junior Guerrieri , e il gruppo B , il Blue Gene Sydney , Canberra ACT A , Samoa e Tonga A A Pampas XV.
