LOS ALL BLACKS EXPRESAN JUEGO DE CONTUNDENCIA

En la quinta fecha de la Serie Mundial de Seven, los All Blacks ganaron la Copa de Oro con un contundente 21-0 sobre los Springboks, mientras que los Pumas 7 cayeron en semifinal de Plata ante los Wallabies  por 34-0 y que luego vencieron la final ante Canadá por 12-10.

 Materia pendiente para los Pumas 7 el posicionamiento y despliegue frente al factor climático, donde bajo la lluvia se pusieron en evidencia la falta de destreza en el manejo de la pelota ante rivales de notable oficio para transmitir juego a otra velocidad y con otros automatismos.

Buena performance para el cuarteto cordobés encabezado por Gastón Revol y Aníbal Panceyra Garrido, y completado por dos verdaderos tryman como Facundo Panceyra Garrido (con try cost to cost a Escocia) y Germán Schulz.

Por el tercer puesto Fidji superó Inglaterra por 14-7. Con esta victoria  Nueva Zelanda encabeza las posiciones con 99 puntos, mientras que Sudáfrica suma 97 y Fidji es tercero con 73. Más atrás se ubica con 68 Inglaterra, con 59 Australia, con 57 Samoa y con 53 Argentina.

Sherwin Stowers con doblete y Tim Mikkelson anotaron los tries en la final ganada por los All Blacks entrenados por Gordon Tietjens, que en los seis partidos encajaron solamente 12 puntos. Ahora viene la sexta fecha con el Seven de Tokio entre el 22 y  23 de marzo.

In the fifth round of the World Seven Series, the All Blacks won the Gold Cup with a resounding 21-0 over the Springboks, while the Pumas fell in Plate semifinal against the Wallabies by 34-0 who beat Canada by 12-10 in the final.
