Por la quinta fecha del IV Super Rugby Américas 2026, los Dogos XV apuntan a consolidar su primado ante Peñarol, mañana viernes 20 de marzo a las 20:00 horas en el estadio del Córdoba Athletic Club.

Los Dogos XV  llegan al desafío frente a Peñarol, tras una contundente victoria por 68-0 ante Selknam, liderando la tabla de posiciones con 16 puntos, mientras que el XV uruguayo está 5º con 10 unidades.

Peñarol llega a este duelo tras una sólida victoria por 38-20 ante Cobras; pero enfrentará a unos Dogos XV motivados que buscan ganar por primera vez en su feudo, a la franquicia uruguaya.

El equipo entrenado por Diego Ghiglione, Galo Álvarez Quiñones y Stéfano Ambrosio, presenta cambios sustanciales con figuras claves en puestos estratégicos.

Comenzando por el capitán y octavo Valentín Cabral y los centros Ernezsto Giudice y Facundo Pueyrredón; en las puntas Luciano Avaca y Agustín de Vértiz, y cerrando el fondo con el full back Mateo Soler Filloy.

El Medio Scrum Nicolás Viola,  cada vez más afirmado, es el playmaker del juego desplegado, junto al apertura Julián Hernánez; a la vez que el pack es liderado por el hooker Juan Ignacio Greising Revol.

For the fifth round of the 2026 Super Rugby Americas, Dogos XV aim to solidify their lead against Peñarol tomorrow, Friday, March 20th at 8:00 PM at the Córdoba Athletic Club stadium.

Dogo XV come into this match against Peñarol after a resounding 68-0 victory against Selknam, leading the standings with 16 points, while the Uruguayan XV sits in 5th place with 10 points.
