Hurricanes buscan redimirse ante Jaguares - Hurricanes seek to redeem themselves against Jaguares

Los Hurricanes que vienen de perder ante los Bulls el pasado sábado en el Loftus Versfeld de Pretoria por 21-19, buscan redimirse ante los Jaguares que vienen de perder ante los Lions en el Ellis Park de Johannesburgo por 47-27 el pasado sábado, y  van por un debut exitoso el sábado en el Estadio de Vélez Sarsfield. 

La tercera fecha del Super Rugby 15 en la cancha porteña, encuentra a los Hurricanes de Wellington favoritos con margen de 20  puntos sobre la franquicia argentina, debido al regreso de sus All Blacks, los hermanos Jordie Barrett  y Beauden Barrett junto al medio scrum Thomas Perenara y los hermanos Julian y Ardie Savea. El jugador del año de World Rugby, Beauden Barrett, será el apertura saliendo del banco en  el partido inaugural de los Hurricanes ante los Bulls,  mientras que  Jordie Barrett será el  full back, en su debut en  la temporada 2018, al  recuperarse de la lesión en el hombro en la semifinal 2017 frente a los Lions en Johannesburgo. Respecto a la derrota ante los Bull, el entrenador Chris Boy completa los cuatro cambios con el pilar Chris Eves  por el lesionado Toby Smith, y  Ben Lam como wing  reemplaza a Wes Goosen. También hay un cambio de posición con Matt Proctor que de full back pasa al centro por  Vince Aso que va al banco.  Los Jaguares,  el equipo más indisciplinado del torneo,  presenta  cambios para su primer partido como local: en segunda línea va el cordobés Matías Alemanno líder del pack junto al entrerriano  Marcos Kremer y también reaparece el flanker entrerriano  Javier Ortega Desio,  tras purgar una fecha de sanción disciplinaria interna. La gran carta ganadora de la franquicia argentina está en su pareja  de medios con el medio sctummandocini Gonzalo Bertranou y el apertura tucumano Nicolás Sánchez, y en su tercera línea encabezada por el  octavo santiagueño Tomás Lezana y que completan el flanker Javier Ortega Desio y el  flanker porteño PabloMatera. En el único encuentro entre ambos, se registra la derrota de los Jaguares en la séptima fecha del torneo 2016 por 2016: por  40-22, en Wellington. Vienen de perder  sus últimos tres juegos como locales  y actualmente están perdiendo su racha perdedora más larga en su país. Los Jaguares han perdido seis scrums en últimos dos partidos, el doble de los que perdieron  en  siete partidos anteriores. Wes Goosen apoyó siete tries en sus últimos seis partidos  de Super Rugby.  A menos que no mejoren actitud y disciplina, Jaguares no tienen  posibilidad de ganar y Hurricanes deberían ganar por 20 puntos.

Hurricanes seek to redeem themselves against Jaguares

The Hurricanes that come from losing against  Bulls last Saturday at Loftus Versfeld in Pretoria 21-19, seek to redeem themselves against  Jaguares who come from losing against  Lions at Ellis Park in Johannesburg 47-27 last Saturday, and they go for a successful debut on Saturday at Vélez Sarsfield Stadium of Buenos Aires City. The third round of Super Rugby 15 at  Buenos Aires pitch,  finds the Wellington Hurricanes favorites with a margin of 20  points over Argentinian  franchise, due to the return of their All Blacks, the brothers Jordie Barrett and Beauden Barrett next to the scrum half Thomas Perenara and brothers Julian and Ardie Savea. 

World Rugby player of the year, Beauden Barrett, will be fly half  out of the bench in the Hurricanes' opening game against  Bulls, while Jordie Barrett will be full back, in his debut in the 2018 season, recovering from the injury on the shoulder in 2017 semifinal against  Lions at Johannesburg. Regarding the loss the Bulls, coach Chris Boy completes the four changes with prop Chris Eves for injured Toby Smith, and Ben Lam as wing replaces Wes Goosen. There is also a change of position with Matt Proctor who goes full back to centre  by Vince Aso who goes to the bench. The Jaguares, the most undisciplined team of  tournament, presents changes for their first match at home: in the second row goes  Matías Alemanno from Córdoba, leader of pack together with Marcos Kremer from Entre Ríos and also reappears the flanker  Javier Ortega Desio from Entre Ríos , after purging a match of internal disciplinary sanction. The great winning card of  Argentinian  franchise is the media pair with scrum half from Mendoza  Gonzalo Bertranou and fly half from Tucumán, Nicolás Sánchez, and in its bottom row headed by number eighth from Santiago del Estero, Tomás Lezana and who complete flanker Javier Ortega Desio and flanker from Buenos Aires  PabloMatera. In the only match between both, Jaguares' defeat is recorded on the seventh round of  2016 tournament: by 40-22, at Wellington. They come from losing their last three home games and are currently losing their longest losing streak in their country. The Jaguares have lost six scrums in the last two games, twice as many as they lost in seven previous games. Wes Goosen scored  seven tries in his last six Super Rugby games. Unless they do not improve attitude and discipline, Jaguares have no chance of winning and Hurricanes should win by 20  points.
