Los Highlanders de Dunedin, en el extremo
sur de la isla sur de Nueva Zelanda, se proclamaron campeones del Súper Rugby
2015 superando a los Hurricanes en Wellington por 21-14 en partido de alta
intensidad y destreza en el último Torneo con 15 equipos ya que desde 2016 será

Los “Montañeses”

Aron Smith ganaron su primer título de Super Rugby al vencer a los Huracanes por
14-21 en final frenética disputada en el Westpac Stadium de Wellington, adonde llegaron
a conquistar un título de Super Rugby que
se les escapó en 1999 cuando fueron superados por los Crusaders de Christchurch en la final
en su propio feudo de Dunedin.
Entre los Montañeses
desgacó el flanker Elliot Dixon elegido mejor jugador del partido después de anotar un
try y la creación del que apoyó el wing Waisake
Naholo. Los montañeses estaban en
