Los All Blacks fueron nominados el Equipo IRB del Año por séptima vez - The All Blacks were named IRB Team of the Year for the seventh time

Tras veredicto de la serie internacional del otoño europeo en hemisferio norte,  los All Blacks, los Springboks y los Wallabies forman el trío que está en la cumbre del rugby mundial consolidando la hegemonía del hemisferio sur, hecha la excepción de los Pumas, que siguen décimos.

Nueva Zelanda, campeón mundial y campeón del Rugby Championship  terminó invicto ante Francia, Inglaterra e Irlanda. Si bien la victoria en el célebre Lansdowne Road fue la más sufrida ante un quince del Trébol (Shamrock) traumatizado ya que tiene un solo empate desde 1973.

Con figuras como el octavo Kieran Reid, proclamado Jugador del Año, y del apertura y goleador Aaron Cruden, los All Blacks tuvieron máximo rendimiento y en 2014 lo demostrarán frente a Inglaterra (3 tests en junio), y en agosto/septiembre ante Sudáfrica, Argentina y Australia.

Los Springboks bajo la batuta del entrenador Heyneke Meyer y del centro Jean de Villiers batieron con autoridad Gales, Escocia y Francia; y entre los hitos en 2013 destaca el triunfo de 73-13 sobre Los Pumas en Soweto, el mayor triunfo en la historia del 3/4 Naciones.

Esos nueve tries de los Springboks a Los Pumas fue la mayor cantidad en un partido del  Rugby Championship y luego ganaron a Australia en el Suncorp Stadium de Brisbane por 38-12 en primera victoria desde 1971 y primera vez desde el  20-15 de 2001 en Pretoria.

Y volviendo al noviembre europeo, la victoria por 24-15 sobre Gales en el Millennium de Cardiff fue la segunda vez desde 1994 cuando los galeses no pudieron anotar un try a los Springboks. La otra vez fue en 2008.

El 28-0 de Sudáfrica a Escocia en Murrayfield de Edimburgo fue primer triunfo desde 1951 en que Escocia no pudo sumar un punto contra los Springboks, que registraron su primera victoria ante Francia en Francia desde 1997.

Los Wallabies cobraron impulso con victorias sobre Italia, Irlanda y Escocia que los volvieron a poner terceros desplazando  Inglaterra, y junto los invictos Nueva Zelanda y Sudáfrica.

Los Pumas en cambio, comenzaron la gira europea transitando sobre carbones ardientes con derrotas sin atenuantes frente a Inglaterra y Gales, y con victoria determinante en la despedida ante Italia. Pero el 2014 se inicia con la cuesta arriba de remontar el décimo lugar.

El escalafón IRB al lunes 2 de diciembre 2013, muestra a Gales como única excepción al caer del quinto al sexto lugar; por lo que detrás de All Blacks, Springboks y Wallabies, están Inglaterra, Francia, Gales, Irlanda, Escocia, Samoa y Pumas entre los 10 primeros lugares.

Gales y los Wallabies protagonizaron en el Millennium de Cardiff, otro clásico inolvidable y fue la novena derrota consecutiva de los Dragones Rojos a manos de los Wallabies, por lo que con 0.79 puntos  fue superado por Francia.

No obstante Gales con las estrellas George North y Leigh Halfpenny tuvo victorias frente a Argentina y Tonga -y dos derrotas -contra Sudáfrica y Australia que en ese último partido de la gira expresó el máximo de su performance redimiéndose de la derrota inicial ante Inglaterra.

The Pumas however, the European tour began passing over hot coals with unmitigated defeats against England and Wales and with decisive victory on the bounce against Italy. But 2014 starts with the uphill climb the tenth place.

The IRB ranking on Monday 2 December 2013, shows only exception Wales falling from fifth to sixth place, so behind All Blacks, Springboks and Wallabies are England, France, Wales, Ireland, Scotland, Samoa and Pumas among the top 10.

Wales and the Wallabies at the Millennium in Cardiff , was another unforgettable clash and the ninth consecutive defeat of the Red Dragons at the hands of the Wallabies, so with 0.79 points was surpassed by France.

However Wales with stars George North and Leigh Halfpenny had wins against Argentina and Tonga -and two defeats against South Africa and Australia, which at the last match of the tour expressed their maximum performance redeeming the opening loss against England.

Après le verdict de la série internationale de l'automne européenne dans l'hémisphère nord, les All Blacks, les Springboks et les Wallabies forment le trio que c’est au sommet du rugby mondial en consolidation de l'hégémonie de l'hémisphère sud, à l'exception faite des Pumas, qui continuent dixièmes.

L'Afrique du Sud avec le 28-0 contre l’Ecosse à Murrayfield a été le première victoire depuis 1951 quand l'Ecosse n'a pas réussi à marquer un point contre les Springboks, qui ont enregistré leur première victoire contre la France en France depuis 1997.

Les Wallabies pris de l'ampleur avec des victoires sur l'Italie, l'Irlande et l'Ecosse à la troisième mouvement déménagé en Angleterre, et le long de la défaite en Nouvelle-Zélande et l’Afrique du Sud.

Les Pumas cependant, la tournée européenne a commencé en passant sur des charbons ardents avec atténués défaites contre l'Angleterre et le Pays de Galles et la victoire décisive sur le rebond contre l'Italie, mais 2014 commence avec la montée du dixième lieu.

Le classement IRB de Lundi 2 Décembre, montre seule exception, le Pays de Galles chute de la cinquième à la sixième place, donc derrière les All Blacks, Springboks et Wallabies sont l'Angleterre, la France, le Pays de Galles, l’Irlande, l’Ecosse, Samoa et Pumas parmi les 10 premiers.

Le Pays de Galles et les Wallabies au Millénnium à Cardiff, un autre classique inoubliable et était la neuvième défaite consécutive des Dragons Rouges aux mains des Wallabies, donc avec 0,79 point a été dépassé par la France.

Il ranking IRB del lunedi 2 dicembre 2013, mostra l’unica eccezione del Galles cadendo dal quinto al sesto posto, così dietro All Blacks, Springboks e Wallabies sono l’Inghilterra, la Francia, il Galles, l’Irlanda, la Scozia, Samoa ed i Pumas tra i primi 10.

Quindi, il Galles e i Wallabies al Millennium di Cardiff hanno messo in scena, una sfida indimenticabile malfrado la nona sconfitta consecutiva dei draghi rossi contro l’Australia, per cui con 0,79 punti è stata superata dalla Francia nella classifica IRB.

Tuttavia il Galles con le stelle George Nord e Leigh Halfpenny hanno avuto vittorie contro l’Argentina e Tonga, e due sconfitte contro il Sudafrica e l'Australia, che nell'ultima partita del tour hanno espresso il loro massimo rendimento dopo la sconfita contro l’Inghilterra.
