Mañana a las 11 hora argentina y en el City Park Stadium de Crawford  suburbio este de Ciudad del Cabo (capital legislativa de Sudáfrica), los Pumas Juniors  se enfrentarán a los Juniors Springboks,  en el tercer y último test  de  preparación al mundial de Nueva Zelanda M20 en  junio próximo.

En los Pumas Juniors el entrenador Rodolfo Carlos Ambrosio mantiene la base del equipo con  cinco cordobeses (tres delanteros, el medio scrum y un wing derecho),  y dos de ellos son el hoocker Juan Ignacio Sánchez  y el pilar derecho Enrique Pieretto (ambos del Córdoba Athletic).

“Me  sentí  muy bien enfrentando a Sudáfrica en estos test y es un gran honor para mí  representar Argentina. Los resultados no nos favorecen ya que cometimos muchos errores en detalles que a este nivel se pagan caros. Por lo que hemos entrenado  en jugar bien en las formaciones”,  puso de relieve Juani Sánchez.

“Lo importante es aprender y seguir trabajando de cara al objetivo principal que es la copa del mundo. Para mañana  preparamos el mejor partido de la gira, el equipo va a mejorar, el resultado va a ser positivo y estoy convencido de eso ya que este grupo entrenó mucho y muy bien”, destacó Sánchez.

Mientras que Enrique Pieretto señaló: “Antes que nada me queda la sensación muy buena de saber que no estamos tan lejos de éste alto nivel de competición y de exigencia internacional,  al que uno debe entrenarse con todo y estar muy bien concentrado para cada movimiento”.

“Ahora, lo que es complicado  es mantener ese constante ritmo, que se puede lograr con un muy buen rendimiento físico. Considero que  estas,  mis primeras experiencias a este nivel  son muy positivas y está claro de que queda el hecho de que son mucho más determinantes  de lo previsto”,  reflexionó Enrique Pieretto.

En los Juniors Springboks hay cinco intocables y todos en los tres cuartos: el full back y capitán Jesse Kriel, los centros Dan Kriel y Andre Esterhuizen y la pareja de medios:  Jean-Luc du Plessis (apertura) y JP Smith (medio scrum ). De los 15 hay 8 provenientes de los Blue Bulls.

Pero hay varios jugadores de Juniors Springboks que no estarán ante los Pumas Juniors por disputar  semifinales de Vodacom Cup con las franquicias Steval Pumas, Griquas, Blue Bulls y Golden Lions.

LOS PUMAS JUIORS AL ATAQUE

Tomorrow at 11 hours (on Argentina time) at City Park Stadium of Crawford, suburb east of Cape Town (legislative capital of South Africa), the Pumas Juniors will face the Juniors Springboks, in the third and final match of warm up to world cup New Zealand U20 in June.

Coach Rodolfo Carlos Ambrosio keeps in the Pumas Juniors side with five players from Cordoba (three forwards, the scrum half and right wing),  interviewed two of them: the hoocker Juan Ignacio Sánchez and  the tight head prop Enrique Pieretto (both Córdoba Athletic).

"I felt very well facing South Africa in these tests and is a great honor for me to represent Argentina. The results do not favor us as we made many mistakes in details at this level can be Expensive. From what I've trained on playing well in training", highlighted Juani  Sanchez.

"The important thing is to learn and continue working towards the main goal is the World Cup. Tomorrow we prepare the best match of the tour, the team will improve, the result will be positive and I am convinced that as this group coached a lot of good", said Sanchez.

While Enrique Pieretto added: "First and foremost is my very good feeling to know that we are not so far from this high level of competition and international demand, which one should train with everything and be well focused for every move”.

"Now, what is difficult is to maintain that constant rate that can be achieved with a very good physical performance. I consider these my first experience at this level is very positive and it is clear that is the fact that they are much more decisive than expected", reflected Enrique Pieretto.

In the Juniors Springboks are five untouchables and all the backs: the full back and captain Jesse Kriel , Kriel Dan and Andre Esterhuizen bith centers and Jean -Luc du Plessis (fly-half) and JP Smith (scrum half). There are 8 of 15 from the Blue Bulls.

But there are several players who will not be Juniors Springboks against the Pumas Juniors because playing the Vodacom Cup semifinals with the franchises Steval Pumas, Griquas, Blue Bulls and Golden Lions.
