Nico Sánchez fue el matador en el “Olímpico” de Roma con 14 de los 19 puntos de Argentina ante Italia, producto de 2 penales, 1 drop y la conversión del try de Juan Imhoff, el primer y único ensayo de los Pumas en sus tres compromisos ante Inglaterra, Gales e Italia.

También destacaron el full back irlandés Rob Kearney autor del tercer try a los 20 minutos en vertiginosa intercepción y corriendo 114 metros, dejando tres defensores batidos y siete tackles. Y el full back  Wallaby  Israel Folau marcó a Escocia un try después de correr 107 metros.

No se quedó atrás el wing Springbok JP Pietersen, quién celebró sus 51° caps con try de gran destreza individual a Francia, gracias a la precisión del pateador, el apertura Morné Steyn.

Estas hazañas motivaron que el escalafón IRB mostrara en lunes de reflexión algunos cambios trascedentes como que Australia recuperara el tercer peldaño desplazando a Inglaterra; y Gales remontó al quinto haciendo lo propio con Francia que se quedó 6°.

El resto mantuvo sus posiciones entre los Top Ten con Nueva Zelanda y Sudáfrica consolidados en 1° y 2° lugar, con Irlanda 7°, Samoa 8°, Escocia 9° y Argentina 10°. Mientras que Italia se derrumbó al 13° puesto por detrás de Fidji 11° y Tonga 12°.

Evidenziato Anche l’estremo irlandese Rob Kearney autore della terza meta dopo 20 minuti vertiginosi con l’intercettazione e corse di 114 metri, lasciando tre difensori e sette placaggi. E dell’estremo Wallaby Israele Folau che ha segtao una meta contro la Scozia dopo una corsa di 107 metri.

Non lontano dietro si é messo in mostra l’ala Springbok JP Pietersen, che ha celebrato i suoi 51° caps con grande prova di abilità individuale segnando alla Francia una meta di grande gesto atletico, grazie alla precisione del calcetto dell'apertura Morné Steyn.

Questi risultati hanno indotto la IRB ad un ranking di riflessione nel  lunedi odierno, trascedente con alcuni cambiamenti come l'Australia riguadagnando il terzo posto a scapito dell’Inghilterra, ed il  Galles é salito a prendere il quinto luogo alla Francia, adesso sesta.
