DEL PRIMER MUNDIAL DE RUGBY EN AUSTRALIA Y NUEVA ZELANDA - REMEMBRANCES OF THE FIRST RUGBY WORLD CUP IN AUSTRALIA AND NEW ZEALAND - SOUVENIRS DE LA PREMIÈRE COUPE DU MONDE EN AUSTRALIE ET EN NOUVELLE ZÉLANDE - RICORDI DELLA PRIMA COPPA DEL MONDO IN AUSTRALIA E NUOVA ZELANDA
REMEMBRANCES
OF THE FIRST RUGB
Y WORLD CUP IN AUSTRALIA AND NEW ZEALAND
This June we reminds us that First Rugby World Cup that we have experienced in June of 1987 between Australia and New Zealand, Sydney with the Concord Oval and Auckland with the Eden Pak, where each country contributed their stadiums, its people, their customs and their distinct way of life with the oval ball sport. In the past 100 years the All Blacks, proved to be the best team in the world, winning nine of every ten matches played, but New Zealand has only won two cups of the world, 1987 and 2011. I.e. both glasses in their own home. Australia on the other hand, the Wallabies have also won two world, but on foreign soil: in the 1991 England and Wales in 1999. But find it hard to impose on popular preference where Rugby League also captures some popular preference, like the Australian Rules with oval ball but different design intended as of the outcome for your audience. Now in the Four Nations, Championship, New Zealand is the protagonist having won three editions from 2012, 2013, and 2014. En other Anglo-Saxon sport, New Zealand has never won any Cricket World Cup and not been thrashed never to other nations around the profesional world. It is not easy to explain that New Zealand has poor performance in cricket in a country of 4 million inhabitants. With its 22 million inhabitants for Australia and the West Indies (with 4 million) have dominated countries such as England and India which have many more inhabitants. New Zealand has only done to a satisfactory level netball. In total, New Zealand has won three Championships of the world (1967, 1987 and 2003). On the other hand, Australia has won eight (1963, 1971, 1975, 1983, 1991, 1995, 1999, 2007). A final sports difference between New Zealand and Australia is that New Zealand never invented its own sports team like Australia, since New Zealand sports have always come from other countries. The Australians have also taken foreign sports but have invented some like the polocross, touch football, surfing, and Australian Football.

RICORDI
dopo aver vinto tre edizioni 2012, 2013 e 2014.
