El medio scrum Ali Price estuvo en el centro del triunfo de Escocia sobre Italia por 33-22 (19-10) en cuarta fecha del Seis Naciones 2022 jugada  en el Stadio Olímpico de Roma, y donde fue el Man of the Match en partido donde los Highlanders entrenados por Gregor Townsend marcaron 5 tries y sumaron punto bonus superando a Gales en la tabla.

También Escocia ganó primera edición de Copa Cuttitta en homenaje al ex capitán y ex pilar derecho de Italia y ex entrenador de los delanteros de Escocia, Massimo Cuttitta fallecido en 2021 por Covid. Escocia va con alto espíritu al último partido del próximo sábado ante Irlanda en el Lansdowne Road de Dublín.

Mientras Escocia buscará en Dublín la tercera victoria bajo la conducción de Townsend en 2018, 2020 y 2021, Italia entrenada por el neozelandés Kieran Ceowley encajó la 36ma derrota consecutiva desde 2015, pero marcó tres ensayos, dos de los cuales con la revelación Ange Capuozzo.

Junto al debutante centro Ange Capuozzo, marzó el tercer try el medio scrum inglés Callum Braley, sumando 2 penales y 2 conversiones elapertura Paolo Garbisi. Por Escocia Chris Harris, anotó dos, y los restantes tres Sam Johnson, Darcy Graham y Stuart Hogg, y Finn Russell convirtió cuatro de ellos.

Ahora en la quinta y última ronda del campeonato, donde Escocia visitará a Irlanda en el Lansdowne Road de Dublín, y que viene de ganarle a Inglaterra por 32-15, Italia debe visitar a Gales en el Principality de Cardiff, donde los Dragones Rojos de Gales cayeron con lo justo ante Francia por 13-9.

Las posiciones: 1º Francia 18 puntos, 2º Irlanda 16, 3º Inglaterra 10, 4º Escocia 10, 5º Gales 6 y 6º Italia 0 pts. Quinta fecha del sábado 19 de marzo: Gales vs Italia, Irlanda vs Escocia y Francia vs Inglaterra.

Scrum-half Ali Price was at the star of Scotland's 33-22 (19-10) win over Italy on fourth round  the 2022 Six Nations played at Stadio Olimpico in Rome, and where he was the Man of the Match where the Gregor Townsend-coached Highlanders scored 5 tries and picked up a bonus point overtaking Wales in the table.

Scotland also won the first edition of the Cuttitta Cup in tribute to the former captain and former tight head prop  of Italy and former coach of the Scotland forwards, Massimo Cuttitta, who died in 2021 due to Covid. Scotland go into high spirits for next Saturday's final game against Ireland at Dublin's Lansdowne Road.

While Scotland will look to Dublin for a third victory under Townsend in 2018, 2020 and 2021, New Zealander-coach’s  Italy Kieran Crowley conceded their 36th consecutive loss since 2015 but scored three tries, two of which came with revelation Ange Capuozzo.

Together with newcomer center Ange Capuozzo, English scrum-half Callum Braley scored the third try, adding 2 penalties goals and 2 conversions by fly half  Paolo Garbisi. For Scotland Chris Harris scored two, and the remaining three Sam Johnson, Darcy Graham and Stuart Hogg, and Finn Russell converted four of them.

Now in the fifth and final round of the championship, where Scotland will visit Ireland at Dublin's Lansdowne Road, and after Ireland beat England 32-15, Italy must visit Wales at the Cardiff Principality, where the Red Dragons of Wales fell just short against France 13-9.
