En el altiplano sudafricano, los Lions ganaron a Jaguares por 47-27  (19-10), en  partido correspondiente a la segunda fecha del Super Rugby 15 en la Conferencia Sudafricana disputada en el Ellis Park de Johannesburgo. Para el centro porteño Bautista Ezcurra, fue ‘’Más de lo mismo’’, aludiendo a la doble derrota ante Stormers por 28-20.
