Los Pumas en último partido de preparación de alto nivel para el Mundial de Inglaterra 2015 cayeron ante los Springboks por 26-12 (20-6) en Vélez Sarsfield, donde los sudafricanos siempre tuvieron el control del juego, marcando cuatro tries en acciones desplegadas  frente a una permeable defensa argentina. Los Springboks que en el Kings Park de Durban habían concedido cuatro tries a los Pumas, esta vez mejoraron su defensa y marcaron  dos tries en cuatro minutos con los wingers Bryan Habana (lleva apoyados siete tries a los Pumas), y Lwasi Mvovo, quienes establecieron una ventaja irremontabe para Los Pumas. En el segundo tiempo, Los Pumas mejoraron posición territorial  pero el dominio de los Springboks continuó con el control de la pelota y desmembró con duros tackles las posibilidades de ataque argentino, mientras que en defensa creció Argentina, aunque Sudáfrica mantuvo diferencia y eso fue una clara luz amarilla.

 

 

Los All Blacks se recuperaron tras perder ante Wallabies por primera vez en Rugby Championship, y los golearon en el Eden Park por 41-13,  ganando la Bledisloe Cup en el adiós de Richie McCaw, el tercera línea que sumó 142 caps y pasó al centro irlandés  Brian O´Driscoll, que se quedó con 141.

Australia sigue sin poder ganar el trofeo del Mar de Tasmania desde 2002, y justo en el camino hacia el Mundial de Inglaterra donde son considerados aspirantes junto a Nueva Zelanda que estrenará su cetro 2011 ante Argentina el 20 de septiembre por el Grupo C en el templo de Wembley. En el segundo tiempo, Irlanda con seis cambios domino con try del wing Luke Fitzgerald quien sobre la derecha recogió un kick de Madigan por lo que el XV del Trébol logró su segundo triunfo tras ganar por 35-21 a Gales en el Millennium de Cardiff y habrá revancha con los Dragones Rojos en Dublin el 29 de agosto. En primer amistoso preparativo al Mundial donde sera anfitrión,  Inglaterra ganó 19-14 a Francia en Twickenham. Los galos arrancaron con penal del medio scrum  Morgan Parra. Pero el XV de la Rosa de los Tudor pasó adelante con doblete del wing  Anthony Watson concretando un gran despliegue  del wing  Jonny May.  En el complemento, Jonny May marcó el tercer try inglés convertido por el aperture Owen Farrell  quien también había convertido el primero de Watson y  Francia  respondió con try de maul rematado por el flanker Fulgence Ouedraogo. Un sábado de Gloria espera mañana a los Pumas frente a los Springboks y a los Wallabies ante los All Blacks en el último exámen de preparación al mundial de Inglaterra que comenzará para Argentina el 20 de septiembre en el templo de Wembley ante los All Blacks, campeones mundiales salientes. Será sábado con cuatro desafíos comenzando por huso horario (hora argentina) con Nueva Zelanda vs Australia (04:35 hrs, Eden Park de Auckland), Irlanda vs Escocia (14:00 hrs, Lansdowne Road de Dublín), Inglaterra vs Francia (16:00 hrs, Twickenham) y  Argentina vs Sudáfrica (16:40, Vélez Sársfield en vivo Espn+).  Los Pumas, presentarán siete cambios respecto al último sábado, en Durban. Entre los forwards, en la segunda línea Benjamín Macome va por Guido Petti, en tercera línea  Tomás Lezana y Juan Martín Fernández Lobbe en lugar de Pablo Matera y Leonardo Senatore. Pasará a la historia en los anales del rugby mundial el sábado 8 de agosto de 2015 comenzando a primera hora la tercera y última jornada del Rugby Championship con victoria y primer título para Australia al ganar a Nueva Zelanda por 27-19; y el primer triunfo y como visitante de Argentina sobre Sudáfrica por 37-15. Fue como una simbiosis y una premonición esa victoria a primera hora con huso horario de 8 horas entre Sydney y Durban, ya que Australia en el ANZ se impuso a Nueva Zelanda haciendo sentir una performance en estado de gracia y conquistar su primer título tras haberlo ganado por última vez en el Tri Nations 2011. Mientras que en el Kings Park de Durban, Sudáfrica claudicó ante determinados Pumas que siempre estuvieron adelante en el tablero para concretar la fiebre del sábado por la noche festejando el primer triunfo como visitante en el torneo, y el primero ante Sudáfrica en medio siglo de confrontaciones.

Il était comme une symbiose et une prémonition que la victoire tôt avec le fuseau horaire de 8 heures entre Sydney et Durban, au stade ANZ,  l'Australie a battu la Nouvelle-Zélande avec  une performance de se sentir dans la grâce et remporter son premier titre après avoir gagné le dernier en le Tri-Nations de 2011.
