El viernes por la noche en los reflectores del mítico Millennium lleno hasta las banderas, Cardiff se ilusionó con la performance de los Diablos Rojos de Gales, pero al final se impuso Inglaterra por oficio y sangre fría resolviendo  en momentos inesperados.

En el scrum, el entrenador neozelandés de Gales, Warren Gatland, puso toda la carne al asador con Gethin Jenkins, pero Inglaterra tuvo más ideas para  lanzar la ofensiva y luego jugar de manos para llegar al 21-16 que le abre el camino a pelear el título al aspirante mayor: Irlanda.

A propósito del campeón saliente Irlanda le ganó con autoridad al obstáculo que se llama Italia por un contundente 26-3 con los suplentes que fueron estrellas, por lo que el entrenador neozelandés Joe Smidt debe gestionar el retorno de sus jugadores de clase mundial con sabiduría.

El apertura Ian Keatley con extraordinaria actuación hizo olvidar al goleador-estrella Johnny Sexton en el “Olímpico” de Roma, por lo que ante Francia el sábado en el “Lansdowne Road” volvería a ser el 10  en una escuadra donde los famosos deben tener paciencia en el banco de suplentes.

Mientras que en el “Stade de France” de París, a Francia no le sobró nada para sacar el 15-8 ante una Escocia bien plantada en el scrum y en line, pero todavía inmadura para rematar jugadas en la tierra prometida rival, no obstante haber apoyado el único try del partido.

Por lo que no es frecuente que el perdedor haya tenido más de juego que el  ganador ya que Escocia con el entrenador neozelandés Vern Cotter,  tuvo ventajas para su consuelo y se fue de París con entusiasmo de mejorar el sábado en su feudo de Murrayfield en Edimburgo ante Gales.

After the second round  Argentina is seventh in the standings with 25 points behind featuring Fiji with 39, South Africa 37,  Australia 29,  New Zealand 28, England and Samoa 27, and ahead of Wales with 20, Scotland 17, France 14, in the top ten.

Un acontecimiento doble hemos vivido los periodistas deportivos, de celebrar el Día del Periodista Deportivo en Argentina el viernes 7 (el día internacional es el 2 de junio), y quienes difundimos el rugby, fuimos agasagados el sábado en cancha de La Tablada-sede URCA, en ocasión del encuentro Córdoba-Tucumán por el 70° Argentino de Mayores, por parte de las autoridades de la Unión Cordobesa de Rugby encabezadas por su presidente Gustavo Paz, que tuvieron la delicadeza de celebrar el acontecimiento con una plaqueta recordatoria,  un hito en las relaciones del ambiente rugbístico en los nuevos tiempos que corren en Córdoba y en Argentina.
Y ésta emotiva iniciativa (por lo menos para quien escribe), me hace recordar que en otros países del mundo rugbístico se cultiva una relación de respeto mutuo entre el “establishment” y los comentaristas de rugby, sean éstos ex jugadores o quienes se acercaron al ambiente para conocer sus reglas, sus interpretaciones y sus criterios, y comentar después, teniendo en cuenta la trascendencia del rugby a nivel nacional en las competiciones deportivas.
Y ello me hace recordar como los periodistas de rugby en otras latitudes conformaron clubes o asociaciones, como los del The Rugby Union Writers’ Club, el Club de Periodistas de Rugby Unión (también está el club del Rugby League) de Inglaterra fundado en 1960, o el Australian Rugby Media Association (ARMA), Asociación de la Prensa del rugby australiano creada en 1980.

A double event have experienced sports journalists to celebrate the Day of the Sports Journalist in Argentina on Friday 7th (international day is June 2), and we discuss and spread the rugby,  on Saturday at  La Tablada of URCA field, during the match Cordoba-Tucuman of the 70th Senior Argentinian Championship, by the authorities of Córdoba Rugby Union led by the president Gustavo Paz, had the delicacy to celebrate the event with a commemorative plaque, a milestone the rugby relationship in the new times in Córdoba and Argentinian rugby.
And this emotional initiative (at least for this writer), reminds me that other countries in the world rugby relationship of mutual respect between the "establishment" and rugby commentators is grown, whether or former players who came to the environment to meet their rules, their interpretations and criteria, for to comment taking into account their role in national sporting competitions.
And it reminds me how journalists rugby elsewhere they formed clubs or associations, such as the The Rugby Union Writers' Club, the Press Club of Rugby Union (also the club of Rugby League) of England founded in 1960, Rugby or Australian Media Association (ARMA), Press Association of Australian rugby created in 1980.

Un double événement ont connu des journalistes sportifs pour célébrer la Journée du Journaliste Sportive en Argentine le vendredi 7 (la journée internationale c’est le 2 Juin), et à tous que diffusent le rugby tout le jour au La Tablada de URCA-pendant le match Cordoba-Tucuman de le 70e Championnat Argentin Senior, pour les autorités de la Fédération de Rugby de Córdoba dirigé par le président Gustavo Paz, eut la délicatesse de célébrer l'événement avec une plaque commémorative, une nouvelle étape des relations  dans les temps nouveaux au rugby de Córdoba et de l'Argentine.
Et cette initiative émotionnel (au moins pour l'auteur), me rappelle que d'autres pays dans la relation du monde de rugby de respect mutuel entre «l'establishment» et les commentateurs de rugby est cultivé, ou d'anciens joueurs ou des gens qui sont venus  pour répondre à leurs règles,  leurs interprétations et leurs critères, en fair les comentaires tenant compte de leur rôle dans les compétitions sportives nationales.
Et cela me je me rappelle comment les journalistes de rugby ailleurs ils ont formé des clubs ou des associations, comme le Club des journalistes de Rugby Union, le Press Club de Rugby (également il y a le club de Rugby League) d'Angleterre fondée en 1960,  ou l’Australien Media Association (ARMA), l’Association de la Presse du rugby australien, créé en 1980.

Periodistas tucumanos en cobertura del 70° Argentino

I giornalisti di rugby di Córdoba, hanno vissuto un doppio evento in occasione di celebrarsi il venerdi 7 la Giornata del Giornalista Sportivo in Argentina (la giornata internazionale è 2 Giugno), e a tutti noi che diffondiamo tutti giorni il rugby, il Sabato a La Tablada e nel corso dell’incontro  Córdoba-Tucumán del 70° Campionato Argentino Seniores, le  autorità della Federazione di Rugby di Córdoba guidata dal suo presidente Gustavo Paz, hanno avuto la delicatezza di celebrare l'evento con una targa commemorativa, una pietra miliare nel contesto dei nuovi rapporti  nel mondo del rugby in Córdoba e l'Argentina.
E questa iniziativa emotiva (almeno per chi scrive), mi ricorda che gli altri paesi del mondo del rugby c’è un rapporto di rispetto reciproco tra lo "establishment" ed i commentatori di rugby che è cresciuto, anche con ex giocatori e pure della gente che sono venuti  per imparare le loro regole, le loro interpretazioni e criteri, per dopo commentare tenendo conto del loro ruolo nelle competizioni sportive nazionali.

E mi ricorda come i giornalisti di rugby altrove,  formarono i suoi clubs o associazioni, come ad esempio i Club dei Giornaisti di Rugby, il Press Club di Rugby Union (anche c’è il club di Rugby League) nell’Inghilterra, fondata nel 1960, e quello dell’Australian Media Association (ARMA), l’Associazione della Stampa del rugby australiano creata nel 1980.

El  sábado en el templo de Twickenham, con aforo para 75.000 espectadores, el segunda línea cordobés Matías Alemanno, el medio scrum porteño Tomás Cubelli (segunda invitación seguida), y el full back porteño Joaquín Tuculet jugarán por los Barbarians que enfrentarán a los Wallabies en jornada histórica.

Los Barbarians entrenados por el neozelandés John Kirwan (ex técnico de Italia, y de Japón y actual de los Blues de Auckland), enfrentarán a los Wallabies donde debuta Michael Cheika como Head Coach, tras conducir a los Waratahs de Sydney a proclamarse campeones del Super Rugby.

Los tres Pumas volverán a enfrentar a los Wallabies a quienes ya superaron por 21-17 el pasado 4 de octubre en el “Malvinas Argentinas” de Mendoza y por primera vez en el Rugby Championship, y que en ésta ocasión se llamarán "Australia XV".

El trío argentino junto a once neozelandeses, ocho sudafricanos, un australiano,  un escocés, un inglés, un japonés y un samoano, conforman el plantel de los “Baas Bass” convocados para confrontar con unos Wallabies que buscan reencontrarse de cara al Rugby Championship de julio 2015 y el mundial de Inglaterra en setiembre-octubre 2015.

Por la Copa Killik del sábado y contra Leicester Tigers en Welford Road el 4 de noviembre, John Kirwan convocó al fullback Tim Nanai-Williams (Chiefs), al wing Patrick Osborne (Highlanders), así como al medio-scrum japonés de los Highlanders Fumiaki Tanaka y el  wing australiano Nick Cummins.

Entre los forwards están dos hookers: el veterano samoano Mahorni Schwalger (Chiefs) y James Parsons, de los Blues, y  los sudafricanos son los pilares Matt Stevens, CJ Van der Linde, Coenie Oosthuizen y Thomas du Toit, y los terceras líneas Michael Rhodes, Jacques Botes y Heinrich Brussow.

Por eso adquiere importancia y jerarquía el desafío de Los Barbarians que serán los examinadores de unos Wallabies que comienzan la gira por el otoño-invierno europeo y que será el prólogo para  proseguir luego por Gales, Francia, Irlanda e Inglaterra.

Este encuentro concita la atención mundial, porque lo organiza y lo juega el club más prestigioso del mundo y que no tiene sede. Y donde sus integrantes ostentan orgullosos las medias de su club de origen.

Tras el partido en Twickenham el trío Alemanno-Cubelli-Tuculet, dejará el suburbio londinense para volar a Edimburgo donde comienza el sábado 8 de noviembre su gira del otoño-europeo enfrentando a Escocia, para proseguir el sábado 15 ante Italia en el “Luigi Ferraris” de Génova y cerrar el periplo el 23 con Francia en el “Stade de France” de París.

La invitación a jugadores argentinos por parte de los Barbarians comenzó en 1990 cuando el medio scrum porteño Fabio Gómez fue convocado y fue el primero en un año en que Los Pumas enfrentaron a los Barbarians el 17 de noviembre de 1990,  con victoria de los “Baas Baas” por  34-22.

Le trio argentin avec onze Néo-Zélandais, huit Sud-Africains, un Australien, un Écossais, un Anglais, un Japonais et un Samoan, constituent le côté appelé "Baas Bass" pour confronter avec les Wallabies que regardent le Rugby Championship de Juillet 2015 et la Coupe du Monde en Angleterre entre septembre-octobre 2015.

Pour la Coupe Killik contre les Wallabies samedi et Leicester Tigers à Welford Road, le 4 Novembre, John Kirwan a appelé le centre-arrière Tim Nanai-Williams (Chiefs), l'aile Patrick Osborne (Highlanders), ainsi que la demi-de mêlée japonais des Highlanders Fumiaki Tanaka et l'aile australien Nick Cummins.

Parmi les attaquants sont deux tallonneurs: le vétéran Samoan Mahorni Schwalger (Chiefs) et James Parsons de les Blues, et les Sud-Africains sont les piliers Matt Stevens, CJ Van der Linde, Coenie Oosthuizen et Thomas Du Toit, et les troisièmes lignes Michael Rhodes, Jacques Bateaux et Heinrich Brüssow.

Il acquiert de l'importance et de la hiérarchie de le défi des Barbarians, qui seront les examinateurs de les Wallabies qui commencent la tournée pour l'automn européenne et qui sera le prologue de continuer ensuite pour le Pays de Galles, la France, l'Irlande et l'Angleterre.

Cette rencontre suscite l'attention du monde, parce qu'il est organisé et le plus prestigieux club du monde et n'a pas de siège. Et où ses membres sont fiers de bas de son club d'origine.

Après le match à Twickenham le trio Alemanno-Cubelli-Tuculet, va quitter la banlieue de Londres pour se rendre à Edimbourg où Samedi 8 Novembre commence sa tournée de l'automne européen face à l'Ecosse, à continuer samedi 15 contre l'Italie au Stade  "Luigi Ferraris" de Gênes et fermer le tour le 23 avec la France au « Stade de France » de Paris.

L'invitation aux joueurs de l'Argentine par les Barbarians a commencé en 1990 lorsque le demi de mêlée de Buenos Aires Fabio Gómez a été convoqué et il a été le premier d'une année où Los Pumas ont affronté les Barbarians le 17 Novembre 1990, avec victoire de  le "Baas Baas»  par 34-22.

Il Sabato presso il tempio di Twickenham, con una capacità di 75.000 spettatori, il seconda linea di Córdoba Matías Alemanno, il mediano di mischia di Buenos Aires Tomás Cubelli (seconda volta di fila), ed l’estremo da Buenos Aires Joaquín Tuculet giocheranno per i Barbarians che si affacciano contro i Wallabies in storici test-match.

I Barbarians allenati dal neozelandese John Kirwan (ex allenatore dell’Italia e Giappone e gli Auckland Blues), devono affrontare i Wallabies dove fa il suo debutto Michael Cheika come Head Coach, dopo aver condotto i Waratahs di Sydney a proclamarsi campioni del Super Rugby.

I tre Pumas torneranno ad affrontare i Wallabies che hanno già superato per 21-17 il 4 ottobre scorso presso lo Stadio "Malvinas Argentinas" di Mendoza e per la prima volta nel Rugby Championship, e che in questa occasione sarà  chiamato "l'Australia XV".

Il trio argentino insieme a undici neozelandesi, otto sudafricani, un australiano, uno scozzese, un inglese, un giapponese ed un Samoan, costituiscono i "Baas Bass" per confrontarsi con i Wallabies che guardanno al Rugby Championship di luglio 2015 e la Coppa del mondo in Inghilterra nei mesi settembre-ottobre 2015.

Questo incontro suscita l'attenzione mondiale, perché è organizzato dal più prestigioso club del mondo che non ha sede. E dove i suoi membri sono orgogliosi di portarsi le calze del suo club di origine.

Dopo il match a Twickenham il trio Alemanno-Cubelli-Tuculet, lascerà il sobborgo di Londra per volare a Edimburgo, dove il Sabato 8 novembre inizia il suo tour autunnale europeo di fronte alla Scozia, per proseguire Sabato 15 contro l'Italia al "Luigi Ferraris "di Genova e chiudere il tour il 23 con la Francia nel "Stade de France" di Parigi.
